VENDOR INQUIRIES & SUPPORT
ABOUT OUR SUPPLY MARKETPLACE
At LIGNES DE FUITE, we don’t accept just anyone — and that’s by design. We are curators first. We care deeply about quality, intention, and artistic vision. We only work with designers who bring clarity to their process, authenticity to their message, and a level of craft that aligns with our values. We are not trying to grow at any cost. We are building something meaningful and lasting, and we are looking for collaborators who see the value in that.
Our model is different because our goals are different. LIGNES DE FUITE is based in Montréal, rooted in its underground energy, and designed to be a serious launching pad for the next generation of design talent. Our strength is in emerging work — rare, raw, and refined. We are ambitious and slightly delusional, but we take the work seriously. We want to collaborate with others who do the same.
If you're here, read carefully. We’ll explain how we work. If it resonates — reach out.
OUR CURATION PROCESS
We don’t just add products to a website. Every item we list is part of a bigger vision. When we choose to work with a designer, it's because we believe in their approach, not just their aesthetic. That means:
We care how you make things — not just what they look like.
We look for coherence between your story, your pricing, and your materials.
We expect you to care about who wears your garments and how they feel.
We work best with designers who are intentional. That doesn’t mean perfect — it means considered. Our goal is to elevate the people and pieces that stand for something. If you're experimenting, learning, or building — great. But it has to come from a real place.
We are your advocate — not your boss, not your factory, not your distributor. But we take responsibility for what we show the public. We can only do that if what you offer is something we can stand behind.
HOW WE COLLABORATE
CONSIGNMENT (OUR CURRENT PRIORITY)
We hold a selection of your stock, sell it online and at events, and pay you as it sells. You benefit from our styling, photography, promotion, and logistics — without paying upfront. You receive 65% of the retail price, and we cover e-com photography and pickup. If a piece doesn’t sell within 6 months, it is returned.
WHOLESALE (LIMITED BUT GROWING)
We purchase select items or capsules in advance at a minimum 50% markup. Payment terms are 30 days. We use this model for drops that require immediate fulfillment and strong sales potential.
RENTALS & INFLUENCER RELAYS
We rent special items to stylists, influencers, and media. You keep the rental fee minus our commission (25–35%, depending on usage). Rentals can generate press, photo assets, and audience buzz — and you always have final say.
RENTALS & VISIBILITY WITH OUT SHOWROOM FEES
One of our most powerful tools is our editorial rental model. Many of our garments are loaned for short-term use in shoots, music videos, performances, and press events. These rentals generate public relations value, imagery, and new audiences for your work — all while creating cultural currency. Designers keep 65–75% of the rental fee, depending on the context. Every rental is logged, and for non-commercial visibility exchanges, we get your approval and document the exposure.
We also produce our own campaigns and editorials in-house — working with a network of stylists, photographers, and creatives to spotlight our designers. These are used for seasonal drops, press outreach, and our own platform storytelling. If your pieces are selected for these campaigns, they will be professionally styled, shot, and credited. We do this not as a favour, but because we believe in building brand equity collectively.
This rental and visibility model is especially powerful for avant-garde pieces, runway looks, or one-of-a-kind items that may not move quickly in conventional retail but are visually impactful and have strong narrative value.
PRODUCTION SUPPORT
As part of our broader mission, we also help emerging designers bring small-run capsules to life. If you have a prototype or pre-sale idea and need help producing it locally, we can connect you to the right people. Whether it’s pattern making, cutting, or coordinating a micro-production run — we’re invested in helping designers figure out how to scale, one step at a time.
ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
We’re looking for partners, not products. People who are serious about what they do. Designers who want to offer real value, not just aesthetics. We don’t need you to be famous — but we do need you to be honest, clear about your ambitions, and open to dialogue. If you're in residence with us, you benefit from lower commission rates and more visibility. If you're just starting out, we’ll help you price things properly, present your work with coherence, and build a real customer base.
Working with us means entering a space where artistry and commerce coexist — where things are made slowly, intentionally, and with care. If you're tired of shouting into the algorithm void and want to be part of something with substance, we’re here.
