ADVANCED COURSES

WHO ARE THESE COURSES FOR?

Our Advanced Courses are designed for fashion students, recent graduates, and early-career creatives looking to acquire advanced skills that complement their formal education. Highly experimental in nature, these courses are structured to push boundaries and encourage creative risk-taking. Each 14-week program is led by seasoned professionals and focuses on the development of both technical mastery and conceptual clarity. The final outcome is not a commercial product, but the deep acquisition of skills and a personal, process-driven body of work.

ADVANCED PATTERN MAKING

A rigorous, hands-on course that takes your pattern-making skills to a new level, led by Milan Tanedjikov and Barbora Sanakova. This 14-week course is divided into two phases: the first part is tutorial-based, introducing a new advanced technique each week — from asymmetry and volume to non-linear design and experimental cuts. The second part focuses on integrating these techniques into a personal project, which will be showcased at a public exhibit. This course is ideal for designers who want to challenge conventions, refine their construction skills, and develop a strong, process-driven practice.

ADVANCED PRINT MAKING

Led by Milan Tanedjikov and Danny Gauthier, this 14-week course is designed to explore the full creative potential of surface design and experimental printing. The first part is tutorial-based, introducing a new printing technique each week in collaboration with Atelier Textile. The second part focuses on integrating these techniques into a personal project around the theme of tension, culminating in a unique triple-panel t-shirt using a provided pattern. The final outcomes will be presented in a public exhibit. This course is ideal for designers and artists eager to develop original printed work grounded in both research and craft.

ADVANCED IMAGE MAKING

Led by Milan Tanedjikov and George Fok, this course blends fashion film, photography, and art direction into a powerful visual exploration. Over 14 weeks, the first half is tutorial-based, covering visual storytelling, fashion film theory, and creative direction. In the second half, participants develop a short fashion film in collaboration with a designer or brand, using the techniques explored earlier in the course. The final works are screened and exhibited publicly. This course is ideal for fashion creatives looking to refine their image-making voice and produce concept-driven, professional-level work.
