VOLONTEER

Volunteering at LIGNES DE FUITE is a fast-track into the creative industry.

This page explains how it works, what roles are available, and how to join our volunteer roster. If you're looking for experience in fashion, events, or image-making — you're in the right place.

  • At LIGNES DE FUITE, volunteering is a launchpad for your creative career. We offer hands-on opportunities to gain real-world experience alongside leading professionals in fashion, image-making, and event production. Every position is designed as an apprenticeship — giving you early access to high-level projects and creative environments that are rarely open to newcomers.

You’ll build your portfolio, grow your network, and gain the kind of insight, mentorship, and visibility that can shape your future in the industry.

  • We regularly onboard passionate collaborators in the following areas:

    • Photographers & Videographers: Capture behind-the-scenes content, assist on editorial sets, or document our events. A great way to build your portfolio while working with experienced image-makers.

    • Makeup & Hair Artists: Assist designers and stylists during shows, campaigns, and shoots. Many of our volunteers shadow senior artists like Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare or Nicolas Blanchet.

    • Event & Studio Assistants: Help with fashion show logistics, support production days, or assist during Open Studio sessions. You’ll learn how to execute cultural events from the inside out.

    • Other Skills? Stylists, lighting techs, dressers, set designers — we’re always open to discovering new talent.

  • Not necessarily. Some roles require basic skills, but many are open to motivated newcomers. What matters most is curiosity, reliability, and a strong desire to grow in a real-world setting.

  • It depends on your availability and the nature of the event. Some opportunities are one-day engagements; others may extend over multiple weeks. We match your interest and capacity with what’s happening in our calendar.

  • Absolutely. We can provide:

    • Written references

    • Confirmed volunteer hours (if needed for school or programs)

    • Credits on content when appropriate
You’re also welcome to document your experience as part of your portfolio.

  • Yes — and we encourage it. We believe visibility and legitimacy are built through real-world action. You’re welcome to showcase your work, behind-the-scenes images, or completed projects (with our permission) to strengthen your CV and creative presence.
