Export-Ready Canadian Fashion Brands - Deadline May 8, 2026

The Canada Pavilion at CENTRESTAGE, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will take place from September 2 to 5, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

Developed in collaboration with the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao, and coordinated by LIGNES DE FUITE, the pavilion brings together a small selection of export-ready Canadian designers.

Read the information below carefully before submitting your application.

  • The Canada Pavilion spans a total surface of 24 square meters, divided into four individual booths of approximately 6 square meters each with one Consulate General of Canada to Hong Kong and Macao counter.
     

    Participation is limited to four entities.
    Each selected participant will be allocated one booth within the pavilion.

    • Individual booth within the Canada Pavilion

    • Access to business matching meetings organized by HKTDC

    • Marketing exposure coordinated by HKTDC

    • Fashion media coverage determined by HKTDC

    • Invitation to designated fashion shows of CENTRESTAGE

    • Visibility within pavilion communications, e.g., exhibitor directory

    • Default Online Package per brand

    • Scan2Match: Offline-to-Online Connection

    • 12-month exposure at hktdc.com Sourcing(3GB space)

    • Feature at centrestage.com.hk, for marketing exposure

    • A pre-departure online group market briefing

    • On-the-ground assistance from the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service and LIGNES DE FUITE

  • Applicants must:
     

    • Be a Canadian registered company

    • Present a ready-to-market collection

    • Demonstrate the ability to produce and deliver wholesale orders

    • Show interest in international market development
       

    Selected participants must be eligible for and accepted as clients of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (free of charge). Eligibility for participation is conditional upon acceptance as a client of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service. Applicants who are not yet registered may be contacted by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service as part of the selection process.

  • Participants will be selected based on the following criteria:
     

    • Readiness for international wholesale development

    • Clarity and coherence of brand positioning

    • Production capacity and ability to fulfill orders

    • Relevance to international markets

    • Overall quality of design, product development, and brand execution
       

    The Canada Pavilion is curated to reflect a high standard of presentation and added-value products aligned with the positioning of CENTRESTAGE.

    In alignment with funding requirements, a minimum of 51% of participating entities must be women-owned or women-operated. Women-owned or operated refers to entities where women hold at least 51% ownership, or a leading overall day-to-day decision-making and operational role.


    Final selection is conducted by LIGNES DE FUITE and validated in coordination with project partners, including the Consulate General of Canada to Hong Kong and Macao, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
     

    In cases where the coordinating entity is also a participant, selection is validated by project partners.

    The selection process ensures fairness and alignment with funding requirements.

  • Participation is organized on a cost-sharing basis, with partial support from the Consulate General of Canada to Hong Kong and Macao.

    Fee per booth:
     

    • $1,000 CAD

    • $100 CAD (Wi-Fi and power supply)
       

    Invoice with payment schedule will be issued by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to each brand.
     

    Travel, accommodation, shipping, and operational costs are not included.

  • Each participant is allocated an individual booth of approximately 6 square meters within the Canadian Pavilion.
     

    Each booth includes two height-adjustable movable garment racks (1200mm W × 480mm D × 1800mm H), one wooden cabinet, one table with three chairs, as well as a rubbish bin and carpet.
     

    The booth is delivered as a ready-to-use display environment. Participants are responsible for any additional display elements, styling, or merchandising specific to their brand. Hangers, mannequins, and other equipment can be ordered upon request at additional cost.

  • Participants must:
     

    • Be present during the exhibition period

    • Present a collection suitable for international buyers

    • Be able to fulfill potential orders

    • Provide professionally prepared product information and line sheets prior to the exhibition

    • Present sales materials and booth displays suitable for an international trade environment
       

    Share B2B contacts and return completed exhibitor satisfaction survey form to the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service after the show

    Each participant is responsible for the use and organization of their allocated booth.
     

    Selected participants will receive detailed onboarding information, including payment instructions and preparation guidelines.

    It is the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's responsibility to ascertain whether a work permit is necessary for B2C activities, and the work permit application process would be as follow:

  • LIGNES DE FUITE acts as the coordinator of the Canada Pavilion.

    Its role includes:
     

    • Assistance in an online market briefing

    • Coordination of the pavilion structure and participant integration

    • Liaison with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Consulate General of Canada to Hong Kong and Macao

    • Administrative management of participation fees and onboarding

    • General oversight of pavilion setup and operations

    • On-site coordination during the exhibition period
       

    The pavilion may include paid participation from the coordinating entity.
     

    LIGNES DE FUITE does not provide commercial representation, sales services, or consulting on brand materials.

    Each participant remains fully responsible for their commercial strategy, pricing, sales materials, and buyer relations.
