This session introduces a method used at LIGNES DE FUITE to develop strong conceptual directions in fashion.
Through examples and case studies, Milan Tanedjikov will demonstrate how speculative design can be used to construct new fashion ideas, narratives, and cultural positioning. Participants will gain tools for expanding their way of thinking and developing more avant-garde creative proposals.
The lecture will include references to projects developed within the studio, including early work by Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran (Matières Fécales). Duration 3 hours
