This season explores the desire to ‘become digital’, embodying a new virtual expression. VR enables us to experience otherwise impossible things, and to become someone else- an idealised version of the self. This expression, and the virtual world itself, are limitless, which manifests in some sort of androgeny expressed in the collection. Another important aspect of this experience is the sense of connection to others, linked in the digital sphere. Thus came the metaphor of a network, intertwinning elements- expressed through the motif of overlaps, which blur the line between point of origin and destination; a continual flow of things in the virtual world.
