Mi-Carême - Catalogne work shirt
C$3,150.00
Shirt crafted in the style of traditional Catalogne textiles, where long strips of reclaimed fabric are interlaced. A brocaded archival image - “Petites Mi-Carêmes à Bédec,” Kent County, New Brunswick, 1960 - is featured on the back, evoking the masked celebration of Mi-Carême. The interior, lined with cotton and satin, displays the same image in industrial embroidery on the back, like a mirrored memory turned inward. Nickel-plated steel buttons, made in Italy, add a polished metallic contrast to the textured weave.

MADE TO ORDER
When a product is listed as Made-to-Order, it means the designer will create the piece just for you after you place your order.
This process takes a little longer — usually up to 4 weeks — but it ensures less waste, more thoughtful production, and access to limited, handcrafted fashion that isn’t mass-produced.
At LIGNES DE FUITE, we work closely with independent designers to make this process smooth and trustworthy:
-
You place your order through our secure platform
-
The designer begins crafting your piece
-
We cover the shipping and send you tracking once it’s on the way
-
You get a one-of-a-kind garment, made responsibly and with care
We believe that good fashion is worth waiting for — and Made-to-Order is one way to support bold creativity without compromising on ethics or quality.
Mi-Carême
Mi-Carême draws its sources from documentary films, archive images, popular culture, Quebec folklore, the harshness of wild landscapes and poetry from gloomy worlds. This brand likes to provoke unusual encounters between past and present, rurality and urban life, between “finding who we are” and “losing the borders that isolate us”. Motley, carnivalesque, sensitive and uncompromising, these are words that clearly evoke the unique universe of this brand which seeks, in a playful way, to break down barriers.
